This Cookie Policy explains how Steady Horse LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and in our app. It applies to all Steady Horse platforms including steadyhorse.com, login.steadyhorse.com, billing.steadyhorse.com, steadyhorsetraining.com, thegreatesthorseman.com, and the Unbreakable Bond App. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with the information these technologies collect.
This Cookie Policy is incorporated into the Steady Horse Terms and Conditions by reference. Where this Policy conflicts with the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions govern.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies that work the same way, including:
- Pixels and tags — tiny snippets of code that report that a page was viewed or an action was taken
- Local storage — browser storage that persists preferences such as your video volume, dark mode, or which panels you have collapsed
- Software development kits (SDKs) — code inside the Unbreakable Bond App that performs similar functions
In this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies."
2. Cookie Categories We Use
2.1 Strictly necessary — always on
These are required for the site to work. They cannot be switched off.

Third parties used: Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, and Affirm set cookies during checkout that are necessary to process payment and prevent fraud.
2.2 Functional — optional
These support features you have chosen to use and keep the experience consistent. Declining this category will prevent course video from playing and will prevent you from joining live webinars and coaching rooms. Access to those features remains available to you at any time by allowing this category, so declining it is not a failure to deliver the Services and does not create a refund or credit entitlement under Section 5 of the Terms and Conditions.

2.3 Analytics — optional
These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

2.4 Advertising and targeting — optional

Important: alongside these browser cookies we also send conversion events to Meta and Google directly from our servers. Those events include hashed identifiers derived from your email address, phone number, and name, together with your IP address and browser user-agent in unhashed form. This is described fully in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy. Declining advertising cookies limits browser-based tracking. To also be excluded from server-side event sharing, submit the support form at support.steadyhorse.com; see Section 3 for how quickly that is applied.
3. Your Choices
How to opt out today. Use your browser's cookie controls, the advertising opt-outs below, and the request route in this Section. We are building a cookie consent banner that will let you allow or decline each optional category, and this Policy will be updated when it is live. Until then, treat the browser controls and the opt-out routes below as the way to exercise your choices, and know that we honor Global Privacy Control where your browser sends it.
Once the banner is live, withdrawing consent for a category means we stop placing new cookies and local storage items in that category and delete the ones we placed under it, other than the record of your choice.
Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout. Blocking functional cookies will prevent video playback and live session participation.
Advertising opt-outs. You can also limit advertising cookies directly:
- Meta: your Facebook or Instagram Ad Preferences settings
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Industry tools: optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu
- Device level: "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android)
Do Not Track. Browser Do Not Track signals are not yet standardized, and we do not currently respond to them. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one. We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. That means we stop setting advertising cookies in that browser and, where the signal is received from a signed-in session or a browser we can match to an account, we also stop including you in the server-side conversion event sharing described in Section 2.4.
Server-side exclusion, and Do Not Sell or Share. To be excluded from the server-side advertising event sharing described in Section 2.4, and from any sharing treated as a sale or share under state privacy law, submit the support form at support.steadyhorse.com if you are a coaching or Club student, or steadyhorse.com/contact-us otherwise, selecting the privacy option. We will confirm receipt and apply the exclusion within 10 business days. Event sharing continues until the exclusion is applied. This is a privacy request and is also covered by Section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
4. How Long Cookies Last
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain for a set period that varies by cookie. Preference cookies typically last up to 12 months. Your cookie consent record lasts 12 months, after which we ask you to choose again. Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics last up to 24 months. Advertising identifiers last up to 13 months, except Meta's
_fbpand_fbc, which last up to 90 days. - Local storage items placed under an optional category are removed when you withdraw consent for that category. Strictly necessary local storage items persist until you sign out or clear your browser data.
5. Cookies in the Unbreakable Bond App
The app uses local storage and SDKs rather than browser cookies, for the same purposes described above. The app has its own privacy controls, reached from Settings > Privacy, where you can allow or decline the functional, analytics, and advertising categories described in Section 2 and change that choice at any time. Declining the functional category in the app will prevent video playback and live session participation. You can also manage advertising personalization through your device settings and can reset your advertising identifier at any time.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools change. Changes will be reflected in the Last Updated date above. Where we add a new advertising or analytics provider, or otherwise materially change how these technologies are used, we will notify you by email or in-platform notification and will ask you to make your cookie choices again before the new provider is enabled.
